Building with lifestyle in mind, and paying close attention to aesthetic appeal, Town Centre will be organized around an active public space and anchored by retail, food services, education and leisure uses.
There will be civic, hospitality and cultural uses strategically located throughout the development. Neighborhood schools will be within walking distance, connected by multi-use greenway trails and sidewalks. In all ways, Town Centre will be a complete, vibrant community.
The community will eventually offer a wide range of living opportunities from single-family homes, semi-detached and townhomes to multi-unit and senior’s active lifestyle units. This housing variety will offer a wide range of community lifestyle choices for residents.
Each community district will centre on a community park, and an extensive greenway network will connect each park and multi-use trail. Roads will be built with sidewalks to encourage walking within Town Centre and beyond. Encouraging housing, retail and offices within the same building or neighborhood also reduces travelling distances for daily activities.
All said, Town Centre will encompass a total of 310 acres for development. The master plan for Town Centre incorporates a phased approach, which will ensure that development advances at the pace dictated by economic growth in the area. The development is set to occur over four phases, beginning with lot sales in Phase 1.
When fully developed, access to the subdivision will be provided by five intersections on major roads.
